Brutalist Metal & Murano Glass Wall Lights, Italy, circa 1970s
Unapologetically bold Italian wall lights pairing sculptural brutalist metalwork with richly coloured Murano glass. Dark, heavily textured frames cradle amber-toned glass globes, a striking contrast of rugged metal and luminous colour.
As much wall sculpture as lighting, these pieces have real presence. Twisted metal, organic shapes and richly patterned glass bring drama and a distinctly seventies spirit to an interior. Not ones to disappear into the background, and all the better for it.
In excellent vintage condition. Statement pieces for a space that can handle a little theatre.
Price is per unit. 2 available. Rewiring is included. Please allow an additional two weeks for the rewiring work.
CONDITION:
In excellent original condition. Some patina on the metal fittings. Over the years it has been used and loved and thus is not in brand new condition. This is the magic of antiques and vintage. Only buy if you share this philosophy with your heart
